FHE offers lessons on our school horses, or yours.

We also offer several options for leasing to our students. Leasing is a great way for an avid student to gain more ride time without the cost and responsibility linked to owning their own horse. FHE offers 1/4, 1/2, and "working student" leases when horses are available.

Bad As I Wanna Be~ "Etcetera" was 2 years old when Emily, 9 years old, began riding him. Emily and Etcetera were introduced to dressage two years later and both fell in love with it! Etcetera excelled and Emily thrived on the new knowledge. When Etcetera was 5, the pair began eventing. They had so much fun... and were hooked! Emily competed Etcetera through Training level, with dressage scores in the 20's.

Due to ankle surgery when Emily was 15, the pair had to take a break from eventing. During the next few years Emily and Etcetera rode for mostly pleasure, while Emily was busy breaking and training green horses for various people.

Etcetera found a new job as a lesson horse two years ago, and LOVES it! He tip-toes around the ring for the littlest of riders, or teaches the advanced students to create a connection on the flat or keep a rythm over fences.

Master Boots~ "Sneakers" came to FHE in August 2009. He is a handsome pony who will shine in any discipline! Sneakers has a very smooth trot and is learning to have a canter to die for.

Texas Chocolate Chip~ "Chip"is a 5 yo QH who has been with FHE for about 2 years. He has been a great addition to the FHE family! He is great with kids and becoming a very fun horse to ride!

Copper Penny~ "Penny" was given to FHE after a long career as a little girl's show pony. At 26, Penny is still chasing the boys around the paddock and teaching the young students the ropes. She is a wonderful "babysitter" and absolutely loves the kids!

**Penny is available for 1/2 or 1/4 lease to students under 80lbs. She would be a great leadline or novice W/T show pony** 

Sharp Dressed Man~ "Spot" is Emily's current show horse. He began as a training project, but has stolen her heart and will be with her forever. The two will be competing 1st and 2nd level dressage this Spring and Spot has found a love for XC so you can also find the two on the event circuit as well.
